Green Cheek Conure (Pyrrhura molinae),  have an olive green body and wings (navy feathers at the end of there wings), and a maroon tail. There head is dark and there throats are gray-green with flecks of green. They make excellent companion parrots and are Ideal for people living in apartment blocks or areas where the keeping of noisy parrots can be a problem. The other great thing about the Green Cheeks is that they come in different colors (Mutations), there basicly the same as the regular GC except that there colors are different. Prices depends on the mutation as mutations are more in price. 

Talking ability in a bird isn’t always possible as every bird is different from one another, just like humans. The green cheek’s and mutations are known to say a few words some are better talkers then other’s. We do have a few that have gone to there new homes and they have reported back that there talking. Some only learn the one word but some learn a lot more. It mostly depends on how much time you spend with h/her in how much he will learn. Using movements when teaching new words or tricks mostly works, so spending time with the individual bird is what helps them learn the things you want them to learn. But you always have to keep in mind that not all birds will learn how to talk....  It’s never guaranteed with any type of bird that they will learn how to talk, even with the well known talking parrot (Grey African). Some may never learn a word in it’s lifetime!
