Caique

Caiques (Ki-eek), are two species of parrots that are in the genus Pionites.

Caiques are native to Brazil, White-bellied Caique are mostly seen South of the Amazon river with the Black-headed Caique being seen North of the Amazon River.

Caiques are known for there playful personality and for there high energy, they are the clown of all parrots. There not the most talkative but are very good in mimicking sounds and whistles. Although some do learn how to say a few words but like all parrots some may never say a word in there lifetime.
